Anonymous have released a chilling threat to a group of young Mexican men after claims they were responsible for the torture of a homeless man.
A shocking video has emerged online which claims to show a young group forcing an Indian man to undress before attacking him with a stun gun and extinguishing a cigarette on his skin, according to Mexican media.
The brutal footage, thought to have been shot in Tijuana, Mexico, shows the man flinching in pain as he kneels in the middle of the street.
And the Anonymous group have now issued a threat to the group – which gives them just 48 hours to hand themselves into authorities.
In the clip, the hacktivists speak directly to the group behind the ‘torture video’.
A distorted voice says: “In recent hours there has been footage circulated on social media in which an indigenous man was humiliated and tortured.
“This abuse of torture and discrimination was carried out by a group of young people who deserve to be punished.”
The masked figure then explains that the group are aware of the identity of the alleged attackers and that they will be made to pay.
The voice then adds: “The game that you finished we are about to start. You have 48 hours to bring yourselves to the authorities. “In the same time you have to find the indigenous man and put yourselves on your knees and beg his forgiveness, this you must film and put out on your Facebook account.
“Then we will take the decision to pursue a prosecution in which you will be judged and punished by the same Mexican people.
“This is not a game, but much more a threat.”
The video was posted on the Anonymous Mexico YouTube channel on December 21 and has been viewed more than 377,900 times.
